Community Farm of Simsbury

Community Farm Barn with Children Playing

Community Farm of Simsbury is a collaborative organization which promotes education & local agriculture, while practicing sound environmental stewardship, preserving the Town Farm, & benefiting those in need.

In 2012 CFS donated over 14,000 pounds of certified organic produce to families in need through partnerships with Simsbury Social Services, Gifts of Love, Hartford Food System, Foodshare, and Billing Forge Community Works.

Additionally, CFS served over 1,500 students in Simsbury, Hartford, and the entire Farmington Valley through relevant farm-based school year academic programs and summertime camps, providing need-based financial aid and scholarships to all who qualified.
